We would like to thank the Troy Community

On behalf of The Troy Foundation, I would like to extend a sincere “THANK YOU” to those who helped us meet the needs of our neighbors through The Troy Foundation’s Community Needs Plus Fund.

With the help of many, many individuals, businesses and organizations, the first $50,000 set aside to create the Community Needs Fund was matched and sent to basic needs organizations providing $100,000 to community organizations that have worked tirelessly to continue to meet the needs in our community. In September, a one-time addition in the amount of $25,000 was announced and by the first of December, those funds were depleted and matched, helping to provide another $50,000 to those in need.

In late December, the Foundation announced the establishment of the Community Needs PLUS Fund. A $50,000 grant was made to this fund to match contributions to ANY non-profit organization providing services to Troy residents. As of today, those funds have also been depleted, being matched dollar for dollar, by The Troy Foundation. Numerous non-profit organizations serving our community have benefited from the many contributions from individuals, organizations, and businesses who again have helped to meet the challenge of assisting their neighbors in need through their generosity.
